    Help with sexing Delaware

While we’re at it, what say you about my buff Orpington? This ones tail feathers and comb are far bigger than his sister’s, so assuming roo. Second photo is them side by side, suspected roo is on the right hand side. Thanks in advance!

    Help with sexing Delaware

Hi all. New chicken mama. I’ve posted a couple times trying to get some confirmation on some suspected Roos and haven’t gotten much response. Will be rehoming the boys out to my mom’s ranch this coming weekend and need some added confidence on whose a boy. Here’s the last photos I had taken, but...

    Hens or Roos?

Which white one? There are two. The large Cornish cross (?) and the white with black speckles Delaware. The only reason we think one of the buffs may be male is because one has a larger comb than the other and they are the same age.

    Hens or Roos?

Hi! New to chickens and stupidly just got some straight run chicks. We have 4 standard size that are 4 weeks old and 6 bantams that are two weeks old. Don’t know exact age. We got them Saturday when I’m assuming they were a couple days old. Here’s one of the barnevelders and one of the orpingtons

Barnvelder and buff orpington babies. Male or female?

Supposedly, we have two buff orpingtons and two barnevelders. But my “barnevelders” are a pale yellow all over and all the photos I’ve seen of them have much more color so who knows, lol. I don’t know how old they are when they get to tractor supply, but I’m guessing they’re close to a week old...

Barnvelder and buff orpington babies. Male or female?

Hi! New to sexing babies and wondering if there’s any way to tell super early on? We got our babies at Tractor Supply and the girl did not know how to sex, so we just picked 4 and are hoping for the best. We live in town and can’t have roosters, but luckily, my mom has a ranch with a great...

    New chicken mama

Hi all! Just introducing myself. I was raised on a ranch and have limited experience with chickens. My husband and I just got our own first batch of backyard chickens and signed up for extra guidance, info, and experiences. :)
