    Ya know, I didn't Need another incubator. I really didn't. But I do have a hen who lays fragile eggs I've wanted a chick from for years. And your discussion made my wallet a bit lighter. But I have 3 eggs out of 12 that are developing. That's never happened, so thanks.

    Reptile expo in the capital district of NY on the 18th. I really want to go, but I've been on a 2 week work detail out of state. So I might have to wait till the Sept one rolls around. Might have cage space then for a skink!

    If your Cr Legbars hen is barred then crossing her with your BCM would make the chicks sexeable at hatch. Little roos will have a spot on the top of the head and hens would not.

    Lockdown. Only about half made it. 1 hens, completely infertile. 1 some infertile, but most made it a max of 5-6 days. And my BCMs definitely donot have a big enough air cell.

    Anyone have problems candling extraLg eggs? I set a bunch from one hen whose eggs are almost never fertile, she's picky about her Roos. I've got faint veining or spots in a bunch of eggs. But it's not anywhere near as obvious in a medium sized egg. So I am leaving them in, but It's really hard...
