Right now we can not have chickens. What I need is anyone around the Stonington area that your town or village allows chickens please let me know. I am trying to compile a list of the area that allows backyard chickens to take before the village board. Thanks for any help

Does anyone need a rooster? I have 3 that I am trying to rehome. 2 are americauna/silver laced wyandotte mixes and one is a Polish/silkie mix. I need these boys gone as they are driving my girls crazy and I am not really suppose to have roosters and 3 crowing is not good. They were hatched in...
I have 3 very beautiful and amorous roosters that need new homes. They are driving my girls crazy. 2 are Americauna/Silver Laced Wyandotte mixes and the other is a Polish/Silkie mix. They were hatched in October. If you are looking for boys with long blonde hair these are the boys for you.
I dont know if anyone has heard but there is a Million March against Monsanto to promote labeling of GMO foods if anyone is interested. It is May 25 in Springfield at the state capital at 2 pm. This is a world wide march and many states and countries are marching that day. You can find out more...

I was in Rural King yesterday when I spotted a bin marked 50 cents. There was 6 about 2 week old little white chicks that caught my eyes. As I was looking at them the guy working there said they were Amberlinks and if I bought all 6 he would sell them to me for 25 cents because they were...
Looks to me like you have a couple of boys. The first picture the red in the front and the white in the front. They were already getting bigger combs then the others. But if the white is Leghorn the females get really hugh combs too. If you post another pic at this age I would be able to tell...
I tell everyone starting out to build much bigger then you think you need cause chickens are like potato chips you cant have just one LOL and they have a way of multiplying on you (ie) chicken math I started with 2 and now have over 40. When I first started I had no idea how a rooster could...
