13 week old duck behavior question

I have a 13 week old female duck, who lays down for me and my husband when we approach her, she isn’t mating yet .I have an older flock, she is the youngest, she completely lays down and we just pet her. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this means. Thank you

Hi everyone I have 2 questions I need help with one is about ants in the coop area and what is safe?

My next Question is about laying ducks and feed, do they need a layer feed ?or is just supplementing with Oyster shell enough I have a mixed flock right now I have grower feed and layer and they eat off of each others food.

Looking for help to identify duck breed

Just got this little duckling but I have no idea what the breed is, I was told Pekin but I've never seen a Pekin that looks like this.

Could really use some advice I have 6 ducks

Thanks again I'll probably re home the males and just keep the females, I was wondering though I bought mine in pairs each are a month apart. So will the girls be ok even if they were raised with the boys. Thanks again

Could really use some advice I have 6 ducks

I feel the same way about the mating I don't like it , it looks to rough I don't want to see it and I separated the male as soon as I saw it, he prefers one female right now. I didn't realize this would be so hard I feel bad about the whole thing. Thank you for the advice and understanding.

Could really use some advice I have 6 ducks

It really is all mine are straight run I thought I was lucky to only get 2 boys and living in city limits were only allowed 7 where I live so I can't get anymore its sad I'm attached to all of them. I really am having a hard time even deciding.
