    Serama tattoo

Just wanted to share my new tattoo with all the Serama lovers out there. My tattoo artist Shawna Scott did a great job capturing his personality. Basil was just a year old when he passed. He was my lil guy, loved snuggling under my chin.

Lost layer to Reproductive Infection last week- 2nd chicken acting same- Worried Infection will spre

Vet said it was an inflammatory issue- her leg was swollen. Now several months later, my daughter did some research and thinks the chicken has gout. She does limp around, but feathers are shiny and clean, has put on some weight ( less than when she was active and laying daily). I think...

    Is this a ROO?

I have two RIR hens, neither has the saddle feathers that I am seeing. Has it started to crow, or stretch out its neck when it "talks"? One of my 98% guarantee pullet babies, is definitely a roo. He started stretching his neck out and making funny coughing noises at about 6 weeks. Now at...

    Is this a roo?

Hi - is this 8 week old Easter Egger a pullet or a roo?] New response -------------- I think one of my 8 week old babies is a roo also! It is a silver Amercana, that is larger than other three chicks (different breeds- maran, blue adulsian, and black langshan). Has a red pea comb, muff, and...
