Rouen Duck thread
so i have a question... I got four Rouen ducklings and im not sure how to tell if they are male or female... any advice? -
what is wron with this tom!
he passed last night... man that was hard to deal with this morning.. I really liked that guy .... :( the rest of the flock seemed to be okay... kinda nervous this morning though -

he is a red bourbon... I had to look that up... I'm completely new to this... he is readying well... and warm under a heat lamp tonight ... and actually the chickens have laid down by him as well. both legs look the same to me no swelling that I can see.. only one of his toenails is gone -

idk what kind they are we have white, red, gold, black, and spotted chickens... but my daughter goes out and sits with them quite often and and another one bites the dust for them... she says they dance to it... lol- sheriqwe

no Change in his head color... but he doesn't want to walk... I hand fed him this evening and helped him get on his feet, he walked a bit but it seemed like he was whimpering.. if that makes sense.. it was little fast chirping sounds... he did break his nail on one of his feet about a month... -

I'm doing pretty well with eggs... I usually get about 5-6 chicken eggs and two turkey eggs a day... they are funny little creatures though... we named a chicken big boot Judy because she is huge and she is my favorite already!!! she loves to be held- sheriqwe

Hi my name is Sheri and I am new to the Chicken business... I got Chickens because eggs are just to darn expensive for us here in Northern Montana. I was given 12 chickens and 3 turkeys one tom and two hens. I need to learn the ropes about chickens... I HAVE NO IDEA what i am doing- sheriqwe

what is wron with this tom!
i was given a tom about 3 months ago and he has been great until today, when i went in the coop this morning he was just laying on the ground...he wont walk and when i nudge he he will try but looks very unbalanced...he seems to be eating and drinking fine.. but im worried he my get the other...
