    Thank you all for the feedback. i washed it and refrigirated it since my town has been in the high 90s we dont want to risk anything, but im so excited and its the first time ive ever raised a hen that actually laid an egg! im just happy overall

    I know i'm getting made fun of for saying its not like a regular egg lol. I was just so excited and had no clue on what to do so i just asked away without thinking how i was phrasing things. But thanks for the advice!! im so excited to taste it!

    im in clovis, New mexico. lately the weather has been hitting the 90's , my husband placed it in the fridge since he worried it would go bad.
