    Congrats! Yep, those eggs pop out of nowhere and you find them everywhere. She'll soon get the hang of it and start laying in the nest box.

    I have noticed my OE pullets do not have feathers on their legs but the boys do. Has anyone else notice this as well?

    You and me both! An egg didn't break inside her, she had an egg stuck, I couldn't reach it with anything I tried. The mixed yolk was another egg that released from her while the first egg was stuck. I couldn't get the vinegar wash to it either to stop it because of that egg. Everyone loved...

    Candy - 3 people are hatching her eggs right now and I'm going to put her last egg and the 2 eggs Amanda and Wilma are laying right now under my broody. She was super sweet and happy. I'm sorry I wasn't able to save her.

    She didn't make it. It's also how much water they drink that makes the egg sizes as well as food content. She's been eating chick starter with free choice calcium like everyone else.
