    Chicks with Adult Guineas??

This is sage advice, thank you for sharing what you do with your keets so clearly. I will need to do some rigging to get the best set-up ready. I appreciate your time & consideration.

    Chicks with Adult Guineas??

Thank you very much for answering my questions. The oldest keet flew out of the enclosure, the other is still forming feathers and needs more time with the heat. I suncerely appreciate you taking time to help me.

    Chicks with Adult Guineas??

Yes, that's for certain. But I am hoping to find out how old they should be before doing this. The one has flown out of the large enclosure I have them in. It is inside, so there is no danger. But it is still quite small. I will put them out with the Guineas, but separated to observe behaviors...

    Chicks with Adult Guineas??

Hello. I have three one year old Guineas, two male, one female. I put some eggs in the incubator and two have hatched. The first is weeks older than the second. They are fine together under the warming lamp, both thriving. I was told that if I put the chicks with the adults, they will kill the...

    Hello, I'm back to BYC!

Great news! All ducks and Guineas are eating regular feed very well! I've not given them any treats since my initial post, and they are thriving! I'm going to hold off on scratch & treats for some more time, since I was obviously giving them too much before. I sincerely appreciate your help &...

    Hello, I'm back to BYC!

I made the mash today & my ducks went hog-wild! Guineas are still acting persnickety, but I believe they snuck back to it later. I have another question for you, is it alright to mix some scratch into their regular pellets, or is it best to keep those things separate? Thanks again for your help.

    Hello, I'm back to BYC!

Hello! Thank you so much for responding. I bought the scratch because both my ducks & Guineas appear to dislike the all flock food you put in the link. I have two bags of that very type and another brand as well. They don't seem to care about all flock feed, scratch or the wild bird crumbles...

    Female Guinea Constant Squawking.

Thank you so much for replying! You answered exactly what I wanted to be sure of. That this is regular behavior and I am not ignoring a suffering bird. I think she has calmed down some. I was to have 6 Guineas, but two died quickly after arrival, and one was caught by a dog when it escaped from...

    Purple Guineas

Thank you for the pictures. The few pictures I've seen previously showed a more pronounced purple color. I appreciate your response.

    Guinea female

I'm sorry your Guinea passed. I'm new to having Guineas (I have three), but these birds in our backyards work their way into your heart with their idiosyncrasies. I hope your other one stays healthy. Best wishes, Jacki
