thanks for the advice. i have some left over 2x3 welded wire and some chicken wire i will most likley use for cover... we will see they loved being outside today 70 and sunny for the first time in 6 mths

Yes. Haha :) there really are no dangers of daytime predators here and the chickens will be locked in their coop at night.

Thanks. Yes very wooded here in Maine...the run right now is 3x2 welded wire 5' tall. 2 1/2 feet up from the ground attached to the welded wire is 1/2 x 1/2 hardware cloth which is also buried (or is going to be tomorrow lol) it should do the trick. Also it will be cover with whatever is left...
We bought 6 pullets from TSC 4 of them are RSL for sure and I'm thinking the other two are white rocks or tetra tints can anyone help ? Here is one of the white ones at 3 weeks I will also post a younger pic of her
Is this a red sex link pullet ? Looking through different threads the other RSL I see are the most similar. We have 4 of these and 2 white pullets from TSC not sure their breed either but I'm leaning toward white rock or tetra tint I will post a pic of one of them they are all 3 1/2 weeks now
