Hey guys a friend of mine lost one of her beautiful drakes yesterday and we don’t know what happened
He was perfectly normal the day before
Then in the morning she went to let them out and his corkscrew was prolapsed and he was just laying on the ground
She went to the store to get him stuff...
So you think it’s just a sprain then?
It seems to me that his hock down his leg to his ankle are where it’s hot, the hip and ankle along with foot are normal
The leg feels the same as the other one it’s just warmer.

Hey guys so a couple days ago (Wednesday) today being Saturday, there was a hawk in the yard watching my birds, my drakes all jumped their fence to protect the girls and now my one boy has an injured leg. He won’t walk on it or put pressure on it though he will put it down to balance himself but...

I read not to use yogurt.
I gave her a scrambled egg with some tiny tomato pieces. An hour or so after doing the apple cider vinegar water, she gobbled that up and has pooped a couple times, is more vocal and walks around her box a bit more
My hubby let the birds out this morning and found my one hen with her head cocked, he pet her and she vomited brown water so he rushed to get me out there. I carefully picked her up to bring her inside and she vomited tons more brown water.
She’s now in my bathtub and has almost emptied her...
She was drinking lots of water up until now, her poops were becoming more solid but now she has layed down and won’t open her eyes anymore I’m not sure I’d be able to get her to drink or eat
Was hard this morning I took her food to see if it empty’s, it’s soft now but not empty (4:30pm) but now she’s laying down and no matter what I do I can’t get her to open her eyes, but she’s still breathing I don’t know what’s going on but I think she will be gone by morning 😭
