    Silkie/ polish chick gender

    Hello! I have a silkie and polish chick mix and it is now almost 8 weeks old, and I am not sure if it is a hen or roo. It seems to have more polish attributes so I have been judging it based on that. Thank you in advance for your help!!

    Grit

    My chicks are a week old, and I would like to give them some treats, but Im not sure if they need grit. I have a small bag of chick grit, but I dont know what the right age is to give it to them.
