    I'm not sure. I can keep each hen with chicks in separate areas. We have a divider in our brooder box. What about taking the divider out and letting 2 hens and all 12 chicks live in the same space?

    I have 2 hens also that have new chicks. They are about a week apart. My intention was to let the mother stay with her chicks. How long will she need to stay with them. I have moved them to a large brooder box. Do mother hens usually accept chicks from another hen?
