    Question about transitioning chicks outside and heat

    I have a suggestion. How about getting a timer? I have one in mine that turns the lights on earlier. But you could do the same thing and have the heat lamp turn on at a set time and go off when you want it.

    OH darn, darn, darn!!! Sorry you lost her. Make sure you keep up with the Corid with the rest of your guys, Coccidia is a killer. You have to keep on your toes and watch for signs. Good luck, everyone else should be ok if you give your Corid to them.

    Is there a chance she may have coccidia? If you haven`t given Corid lately I would give that a try if it was my chicken. She may be so wobbly because of lack of nutrition, I`m just grasping at straws. But I`d figure that if its coccidia, then shes not getting what she needs from her feed. Good...
