I’ve got a few new laying hens that are laying eggs with that whitish calcium coating. Are they still edible despite looking odd? Some of them have such a thick coating that when I wash them they change color. I sell fresh eggs and I want to make sure they’re safe
I was just looking at the pictures Bc I have a chick that hatched today that still has the cord and empty yolk sack attached. Did the baby in these original pics from 2018 survive? 🥺 Or was that the yolk sac plus intestines that had come out? Mine is just the sack I see on the outside
