I just contacted her previous owners and apparently she is an ex battery hen and is approaching 4 or 5 so sounds like it might be old age
No discharge, no mites and I have never checked a chickens temperature. Putting her back down after examining her she is a little unsteady on her feet but I think that is because she hasn't been eating and is weak
