    I appreciate everyone sharing their stories. I've learned a lot that's for sure. My rooster will live another day as the weather is getting warmer and I can start locking him out when I go in the coop. They have a nice big fenced in yard so I don't have to have contact with him too often...

    I"ve been reading all these threads about aggressive roosters...because I am dealing with one LARGE beautiful speckled sussex who thinks its fun to sneak attack me in the coop. I see similar stories to mine, he was my most tame chick I could pick him up and pet him until the first time he kicked...
