I started Calcium Gluconate 2 days ago. There was one solid egg this morning. What treats do folks use to administer? It’s not fun to dosewith a syringe. My boy is in with the girls so am cautious about putting it in their feed. Thank you all for your help! -

Thanks Miss Lydia. Do you continue to use vetrycin until healed? The wound is closing nicely. When I took her into my Mom’s suite to visit, I did discover that she is fascinated by TV. Will keep that in mind if I ever have to treat something long term. Thanks again for sharing your wisdom. -

Update: tonight after more than a month of treatment the bumble plug came out! What a relief! She must have known I ordered scalpels this week. Now to get the wound healed. The infection plug was almost an inch long. -

Smart bird. We all like to be spoiled! Except my girl...she’s antisocial. Maybe if I let her watch TV..... So nothing to remove when you cut open? Mine has no scab or black spot so I wouldn’t know where to incise. -
