    We have these two who are 16 weeks, any ideas of gender? They are living with 2 bantams who are 12 weeks. 5 eggs laid this morning and trying to work out who it was!

    These 2 light Sussex bantams are now 6 weeks old. Do you think they are Male?? I have a feeling they might be but hoping they are not 🙁 and suggestions welcome.

    Ah thank you. I just assumed it would be the same, back to the drawing board! I really don’t mind what they are, they will live at my mums when big enough with her other 3 chickens.

    I got a selection of pot luck bantam eggs, there were 8 different breeds. I only got 4 eggs and only 2 hatched...not a bad hatch for shipped eggs that had saddled air sacs. So process of elimination I think they may either be light Sussex bantams or Chamois Poland chicks...anyone any thoughts...

    Internal pip but no external pip.

    Ok so they should not suffocate! Usually they are on time when we incubate! The eggs also came via post so have saddled air sac and one was very porous, hoping they will be ok, even just one for the kids to see. Haha yep im in there every 5 mins cheeping at them 😂😂
