    Curious question about muscovy duckling

Thank you! I can get some updated pictures tomorrow. I've never really documented any ducklings' progress but its fun. The babies are getting in wing pin feathers and mama Aspen is starting to leave them alone for periods of time now...

    Curious question about muscovy duckling

New pictures! I tried to figure out about how old they are now, since I don't keep track...I believe they are around 6 weeks old? And a peek at the other duckling's pretty markings. Aspen, their mama who is one of my starter ducks, was bobbing her head at me and I got this goofy picture...

    Curious question about muscovy duckling

Oh my! The males sure can get big. Oh yes! lol. None today, I managed to forget to bring my phone with me when I went outside, and then I was in all afternoon working on a paper so I didn't get out there much today. I'll try to get some tomorrow. He's just about half the size of his mama!

    Curious question about muscovy duckling

Thank you! :) It certainly is, but these little guys sure help getting over that sadness. I've never had another duck breed, so I can't compare them to others, but 'scovies sure do have great personalities! Each one unique. Your rouen sounds great. :D And thank you very much. Haha, if I hadn't...

    Curious question about muscovy duckling

Updated pictures! They're getting in some beautiful plumage. They hardly look like babies anymore!! I haven't been socializing them quite as much as other clutches, but my dark/pied one is fairly bold and friendly around me. I took some treats out there yesterday, and surprisingly my more...

I need to know what you feed your adult rabbits

I'm sorry for making another reply, but I wanted to correct myself above and add one last thing... I misspoke about the fiber. It is actually carbohydrates that can cause the issue, and that the rabbit should have a high fiber diet. Now I'm only going from one source right now, but I remember...

I need to know what you feed your adult rabbits

I used to have my rabbits on that feed, but I switched to small pet select along with their timothy hay, since they're just 2 pet rabbits. They get treats sparingly. Also, my one rabbit started to have the same problem. It was a few years ago, but he was already getting up in age at that...

    Curious question about muscovy duckling

More pictures of the baby! He's getting his feathers in now. :D I'm always amazed at how fast they grow up. Soon enough we will know if it really is a boy! And if anyone notices...yes, I lost my little white baby. I'm very very disappointed that I lost both my colorful ducklings in this...

    Thank you!

Need help with Rabbit basics please.

I have two fixed rabbits, one male, one female. Both do great together. Now my male does kinda 'bully' my female every now and again, as in, he's the boss of the two so he'll push her around the cage if she's in his way. But. Before we got Pumpkin, the fixed girl, Lion (the male) had been put in...

    Curious question about muscovy duckling

Here are some more pictures of the duckling! I've also realized its got blue eyes. :D I feel like it keeps getting bigger and bigger. I promise I'm not squeezing him here--he didn't want to be held but I wanted pictures...lol. I was holding him very gently.

    Curious question about muscovy duckling

No, I don't. I only have muscovies currently because while ducks are allowed where I live, its still in a neighborhood and we wanted to go with a quiet breed that wouldn't bother the neighbors. I don't have any particularly big 'scovies, either.

    Curious question about muscovy duckling

I've never heard of it either, but they're all very healthy and the dark one and this one were roughly the exact same size when they hatched. My little white one is the runt of the clutch, but with the above statement and the fact it's so big (it even looks abnormal, even when not compared to...
