    I'm speaking from an engineering perspective here and not from experience building my own. If you place extra holes you have more opportunity to have humidity escape so depending on how humid it is where you are keeping the incubator it may make you need to have more water surface area...

    Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes they were shipped 2 day air on Friday June 27 and USPS said they were due to arrive on Monday the 30th. Their website said that until they were delivered on Wednesday the 2nd....so the seller did nothing wrong...USPS is not on my happy list though.

    Hmmm, well I did these in the bathroom with the door closed so it was pitch black....what I'm concerned with is most of them look like a GIANT black glob that takes up 90% of the egg....looks from pics I've seen like the eggs from much later in the process.
