    I'm imagining a cross of some sort. She had Brahmas, Buff Orpingtons, Hampshire Reds, Production Reds, Rhode Island Red, Barred Rock, black sex link Buff Orpingtons, White Rocks, Black Australorps, and Production Reds...sooo not really sure. He's a fairly good rooster though.

    Honestly not sure. The lady we got all our chicks from told us a 1 in 100 chance of a rooster with our 16 chicks that she even had trouble identifying. As luck would have it, we ended up hitting the jackpot. 😂

    This article is impeccably researched, very well referenced, and gives the reader a glimpse into knowledge and techniques that were successful long before commercial feeds were available. Though somewhat scientific in it's writing, it is a good read for anyone interested in making their own feed.
