    Roosters or hens?

The good news? Now I conclusively know who is Mr. Chatty. The downside is my neighbors will most definitely not appreciate the early, and oh so loud crowing. I actually tiptoe around in the early a.m. so as not to wake up my beautiful rooster, and in turn, the neighborhood. I live in San Luis...

    Roosters or hens?

I have had the black one for a while and the other one is about 8 months old. I have a total of four chickens. Somebody is crowing. Can you please help me determine if either of these are roosters or if you need a larger picture or more detail?

Redesigning Archair, Shappy Coop- Help Appreciated

One side of the coop is 40" x 8 feet. The other part of the L is 4' x 4' additional. I can expand the long section so it is another foot wider and to 10' long. Thank you so much for replying!

Redesigning Archair, Shappy Coop- Help Appreciated

My coop is falling apart. A large housing area is being constructed nearby and nasty rodent critters are looking for new hangouts. I can no longer procrastinate. Darn. The existing coop is an L-shape. There is an orange tree in front of it. As I am going from 2 to 4 chickens, I'd like to enlarge...

Do you think it can be converted somehow into nesting boxes?

Usage Ideas for Rabbit Hutch in Chicken Coop

Thank you for replying to my first post! Any idea how to adapt it for the nest? If I wanted it to stick out so I could get the eggs, it seems backwards.

Very cool! Is the large PVC by the door for food inside, and the smaller ones on either side of it for food outside? what is the large PVC by the nesting box for? They drink from the plastic trash can outside, and is there water also inside? What is the large pan under the house for? Any...

Usage Ideas for Rabbit Hutch in Chicken Coop

Someone kindly gave me this rabbit hutch, thinking it was for chickens. It is pretty nice. I have 2 chickens and am getting 2 more soon for my coop. My very archaic coop needs renovating and repair. I imagine I may be able to use this somehow? Any idea how to best use it for my chickens? Alter...
