thanks so much to everyone for your advice :) my hen has stopped making the noise since last night so that’s good! She started making the noise after they came in at dark and I saw them playing and digging in the dirt previously so that may have cause her to make that sound. I’ll work on...
I hope it’s just a tickle feeling...she’s been making the noise for about an hour now. It’s been less frequently but she’s still making the noise :( Hopefully it’ll be gone by tomorrow
one of my hens just started making a weird squeak/squak sound that almost sounds like a sneeze or cough! Is she sick or is there something she swallowed that could be blocking her airway or throat? She has drank water, eaten some oats that I mixed with Greek yogurt, and I also got her to drink a...
I have no other chickens and have never cared for chickens before. I’ve been trying to get them to eat some greens as other are suggested. Right now they’re still figuring out that they can actually eat the greens. I also did put a water container in their box which they are slowly getting used...
I took the baby chicks roaming out and about again just now (supervised of course) and they even took a dirt bath together :celebrate They’re like two peas in a pod!!

I don’t have any milk jugs at the moment, but I doubt they’ll even think of going near the jug as they even get scared and avoid any new container or object I put in their container
Hahaha yep there’s chickens everywhere, yet hardly any stores sell things for chickens!! I’ll search up some water container advice and hopefully I can get these chicks drinking and eating better !!
