Need help on getting a high ratio on fertile eggs. I have about 23 hens and one large Lashcan rooster but it seems like he only mates with just 2-3 of the same hens. I would love to hatch naturally but I would lose so many eggs due to being non fertile.
Can someone help me on how to cut down on the cost of feeding these chickens. I always feed them all I can in scraps as long as it's healthy scraps and they still just devour the feed. Also, when do most hens quit laying? Thanks Steve.
Can anyone help me with leading me to the best hens for setting and hatching the little ones. I do incubate as well but I would like to do both. I heard that Bantam Hens are really good at hatching.
I would not get it. I purchased everything for $37 and it wont let me print any of it out at all, even though it says you can and I can't get a response at all from there contact email only center. Everything is E- book so I should be able to print it since that's what you are actually buying...
