    I am leaning that way too. Silkie is my baby, follows me everywhere and is the sweeting thing. I dont know how I will ever give this one up if it is indeed a rooster :(

    Thank you, I was hoping I was wrong. I cannot have a cockerel where I am at. I was looking online and noticed the roosters had white white hackle feathers but I am so new to this I dont know what I am looking at. ☺

    Hi there, I recently got some new chicks and I am trying to figure out if I have a roo or pullet in both my birds. I have a splash silkie and a silver laced orpington. These pictures were taken when they were 8 weeks old. They are now 11 weeks old.
