I inherited a flock of 9 chickens in 2017.My neighbors at the time had a mean dog that would growl at my kids and I when we were outside. The dog eventually learned to jump the fence or sneak out of it somehow and killed all but 2 of my chickens. Animal control and some guns later.. neighbors moved :)))) Got 5 baby chicks from an Agway last spring and one turned out to be a rooster. Charlie the rooster is a sweetie. He let me pick him up and carry him to bed for the first 5-6 months. All of them did they refused to go to bed on their own.

So the 2 original chickens and the 5 babies get a long great. Charlie knows to respect his older girls. Anywho fast forward to last Xmas, my boyfriend got my the Farm Innovators 4520 incubator and I started my first hatch on March 18th :) I'm all about experiments!
