    I saw an article about best chickens for Australia -- I have a friend who lives in Melbourne and it is super chicken (they call them "chooks")every family is allowed 10 hens. Anyway, from this article I read, now I think my hen is an Orpington. She looks exactly like the picture here...

    I got her in an ornamental layer assortment from McMurray. I had two of them and even as day-old chicks they were bigger than all the others. Is Sex Link a breed? I guess I'm pretty ignorant about breeds of chickens.
