    Thank you for the encouragement. I've definitely learned about what I won't do next time haha! A temporary solution is a good idea...it'll take the pressure off until I have the means/ability to do it properly.

    I appreciate that so much. Here's a couple of pics It's somewhere between 7 or 8 feet tall, 10 feet wide, 20 feet long. In hindsight, it was a mistake to make it so big (I just wanted to eventually be able to accommodate many birds!)

    In your experience, are some of the larger hatcheries better/worse at sexing than others?

    I'm curious if places like Cackle, Ideal, Mt. Healthy, Meyer, Hoover, are more or less the same when it comes to reliability of sexing, or if some stand out as being better or worse?

    Yes! We're putting an apron of 19 gauge hardware cloth, 3 feet wide, all along the perimeter. Is that sufficient? (I may also run my old electrified sheep netting around it for good measure?)
