hey oegb breeders...new pics pg 4~ post #33

These are a few of our BB Reds from this year. The best advice I could give is to start with the very best breeders that you can afford.I had another line of BB's that I worked on for 3 years but never could get the birds even close to where I wanted them so I got rid of the whole bunch.

Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

Our conditioning stalls have smooth, solid sides and back.I leave the fronts open with screen wire to not damage feathers.I use deep pine shavings in the floor of all of these pens.

Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

We have both,OEGB and American Game fowl. The Americans do take alot longer to mature than the OEGB.The two breeds do resemble each other but that is about it.In my experience breeding and raising both breeds there is very little that they have in common as far as maturing, broodiness,or attitude.

T or F? Any bird fitting APA SOP is SQ

The term "Show Quality" is so often thrown around any more that it doesnt meen much to me.I get a laugh out of some of the listings I see selling show quality birds.I do believe that alot of the standards are very open to interpretation.Moderately spread to one person may be seen as wide spread...
