    I have a chicken that is mine, because nobody else in my family of five wanted her. I felt sorry for her so I took her in. I was just doing some research and found out that she an extremely rare breed. Also sh has the rarest coat color in her breed.

    I'm sorry about your chicken. By the way, sometimes as cross beaks get older when their beak grows out it keeps them from eating. So if she was in with the goats she might have known she was starving to death, or hurting in her gaw. Poor baby.:(

    If the rooster's name is Jonah then you should call the female a name that is similar to the one that inspired Jonahs name. I named all of my easter eggers after chinese food: general sow, sesame chicken, and kungpow chicken.
