Hi there!!!
We are incubating 3 duck eggs and they are due in a week! Yay! It's been a few years since we've incubated/raised ducklings. At one time, someone posted a recipe for a Durvet Vitamins and Electrolyte concentrate out of an 8 oz package. Does anyone happen to have that? Or how do...
Hi there!
We are expecting ducklings soon! When we raised some a few years ago we used a recipe that was posted on here using Durvet Vitamins & Electrolytes powder mix with water to help with any niacin deficiency. Does anyone happen to have that? Thank you!!!!
We incubated 3 duck eggs for the first time. This morning one hatched! Unfortunately, the other two didn't make it. I've read that ducklings shouldn't be raised solo (we do have adult ducks outside). I live in Iowa. Does anyone have recommendations for good hatcheries? I have called farm...
I'm a newbie to incubating duck eggs (incubating a few eggs that our free range duck eggs layed). I was just doing a total of 3 and lost one on Friday which should have hatched on Wednesday. I was so sad when all movement stopped and veins were no longer really visible. We did open egg and...
Thanks so much!! I so appreciate your advice!! It's going to be so hard during lock down not to look at them! I'll have to put a lock on it ;-). I'm so hopeful and I can't wait!!!!

I'm so glad you posted this! I'm in Iowa where it's supposed to have record low temperatures. They have a floating duck house on our pond (we have an aerator). I am so worried about them freezing to death. Love my ducks!
