    Ok , I'll admit it. I'm a fool , I jave been watching all evening for the A.C. eggs auction to end , and it is not Friday !!! I hate extra days off during the week , I lose overtime and track of what day it is ...….. Edited by staff

    We dont have any yet , but i have been looking at them online for awhile. We have a huge incubator that is just finishing up our first run of chicks with good success , so i think we are ready to try some of the more pricey eggs that we have been wanting to pmay with.

    Yeah , i increased it by a dollar. Just had to do 25 cents at a time to get post count , lol. Its just eggs , so if i dont win i will survive :)

    Heat lamp, when do my chicks not need this?

    We keep ours under heat for the first month or so , but in South Texas we could probably get away with even less time. It will depend on your local climate , but you should be good by 8/9 weeks.

    We have one of ours that has started sitting on the eggs everyday too , she gets mad when we go out to collect the eggs , lol
