    We too have struggled with "will the neighbours complain?" Our hens have been VERY loud, how we tampered it down, it s sad, but we no longer allow them to free range in the morning and at night.     How much do you sell your eggs for?

    We live in B.C., close to Vancouver, and sell our eggs for .50 each. We deliver eggs within a week of being laid, but usually day olds. Free range and / or organic eggs go for between 6.00 & 9.00 a dozen if you buy them at the store here.

    Caramel Queen......is what they are called in the Lower Mainland....what do you know them by?

    Our Caramel Queens, from True North farms in Langley (though they have since moved to the Interior) as well, began laying at just under four months old. I guess this is the site to unabashedly proclaim how awesome they are! So healthy, and friendly, and really really smart. We've had Welsummers...

    Our Caramel Queens, purchased from True North Farms as well, back in April of this year, and they have been laying since the middle of July - truly exceptional in my mind. Also, they are so healthy and friendly.
