    Broody hen pecking & eating her hatching eggs..?!? HELP

    MY new broody mama is pecking and eating the membrane too so I decided to take the egg inside and incubate. Hoping it will hatch ok and I can return it to the mama. Watching her like a hawk now just in case she starts doing this to the rest of the batch. Wish me luck!

    Was excited to see a pip this morning on day 20. Went out to check a little while ago and momma hen was pecking at the hole and making it bloody. Chick is still alive and chirping so i brought it in the house and put it nder a heat lamp to keep it warm. I also wrapped it in a moist paper towel...
