    Thanks all, so glad I asked before giving them away. I’ll let them grow another month or so to let sex become more obvious.

    T hey are having grower pellets, lots of scraps. Same as all my chooks. They were both very sick for about 2 weeks with a respiratory illness and conjunctivitis about 6 weeks ago and lost a lot of weight. They are gaining weight now but I’m sure they are smaller than they would normally be.

    Welsummer cockerels??

    i've been looking through lots of photos and posts, and i think they may be RIR x welsummer. they are both much smaller than the pullet who looks like a pure bred welsummer. i will hold on to them for another month or so to see if sex becomes more obvious.

    They are 15 weeks old. Hatched 1st Nov. I bought them from a breeder, but maybe they are not Welsummers?

    Hi all. I’m guessing these two 4 month old chicks are cockerels? Just checking before I give them away. I am new to Welsummers.
