    Where can I find the "age" groups. Whats considered an adult, whats a pullet (someone said a chemically castrated roo?!?! I thought it was just an age description!) Yikes. The Buff Orping is only 10 weeks, not an adult, can she go with the slightly younger 2 hens?

    Here is my son watering the box turtle pen. Those are native blanket flowers... Lets see if the picture post's...even though this isn't "Back yard turtle forum". (Turtles are my hubby's thing, not mine.) YEY! It worked! LOL Its a dark pic though, I shoulda lightened it up.

    Is it true that the chickens will attract predators...in general? My husband has a large box turtle pen and is NOT HAPPY that I will be getting 3 hens because they will go after his turtles if they are just "attracted" to the area in general. Yeesh...

    Thank you! Starting with 3 was the plan anyhow. I'll be fencin goff an area the tractor itself will be in so they can free roam through an orchard area and we can sit with them on weekends and goof off. But most of their time will be in the coop tractor so I want it to be spacious!
