Thanks! We are only planning on letting the dogs and chickens mingle when we are out there to supervise. They are small dogs, also. The hens will outweigh them when they are grown.

Thanks, everyone! We just ordered our coop and run and now will be searching for where we can find chickens in our area. Does anyone have dogs around their hens and if so, how do they do? We would like to let the hens have the run of the yard, at least some of the time, but are worried about...
