She is a Rhode Island Red and she's pretty easygoing. I was hoping to get the same breed that my rooster is, an Ameraucauna/Easter Egger. They seemed to get along pretty well. I'm pretty certain she would need a friend. She gets worried when she can't find my other chicken in the yard...- SraLujan

I have created tiny little monsters...
Mine love pecking out of a cantaloupe rind. Another favorite is carrot peelings. I just hope I'm not spoiling them so they won't eat bugs.- SraLujan

Yes, I'm a bit sad about it. I can't believe how attached I've gotten in just 10 weeks, but then again I did raise him from a tiny fuzzy chick. Hopefully someone will recognize his beauty and will take him into their home.- SraLujan
