    Hopping to have chicks any time a week or so ago . At what point do I take out the eggs . There was 2 mostly developed dead chicks found on the floor about a week ago . Rooster was moved and no more dead chicks. Just wondering how long to wait until removing the eggs . My chickens are sliver...

    I went to peek in on them and the power came on . Took them about a minute to start eating and fighting . I know for sure 1 rir is a roo its comb is twice as big as the rest but slw im finding it hard to figur out if there pulets or roos . Just watching them fighting each other made me wonder .

    Ok good i think its only going ddown to 31 tonight . We have snow every where here in N.S. today is the first rain sence december i hope it wash most of the snow away . Theres a rain fall warning for here . There was the most snow this year then i can ever rember .
