    I plan to use a heavy galvanized wire for the floor of my coop so the droppings land on the ground below (2-3 feet down, as the coop will be up on legs. I'll put shavings there to collect it and rake it out every week or two. Do any of you experts see any reason that won't work? Thanks--Stacey
