    Cute story, good anecdotes. But, I was truly looking for information on how to keep chickens in the yard without a fence. Not much useful information here.

    Yes! I couldn't remember, but the 3 are Gold Laced Wyandottes. I can't tell them apart, so they are collectively name The Triplets :) My rooster is George, he came from a farm with a mixed flock.

    I just went out to check and have 2 babies!!! Mom had them out of the nest, in front of the door. She pulled them under her, but not back in the nest.
