    Thanks for all of the replies, I think it may have had to do with the ducks, sorry no gator or platypus:D good news is no eggs in the water today but we did get 7 eggs today! Thanks again I have lots to learn still but this is a great start and you all are ALOT of help! _stan

    IK here is the big one, I have a tub for water in my coop cuzof the 3 ducks, but here is the weird question the water tub us 20 gallons and it sits inside a kiddie pool (empty) to catch all of the spilled water, here is the strange part. So the chickens started laying about a week ago and today...
