Try Ivermectin. DE may or may not help prevent lice... but it won't treat an outbreak.
(If you can get ahold of a copy of The Chicken Health Handbook by Gail Damerow, it has a HUGE section on mites/lice types, life cycles, and different drugs/ chemicals to treat with.)

Imo, if you want the girls to bond with each other, the best way to do that is by uniting them under 1 rooster. And if you want them to do that, you may have to accept not being your girl's #1 anymore.

The Thai chickens I have came from a flock where they were all free ranging together... They seemed to be doing ok. Maybe they are a different strain of Thai.
