Donrae: Here are some pictures of my buff orps. Oh and both of my silkies began crowing, when I let them out the coop this morning at 5:30a. So that means def roos, right??? :(

Really! My buff orpingtons are the same age. The "rooster looking" one is the biggest of the flock. One of our silkies (darker one) woke us up with 'his" crowing about two days ago but hasn't done it again. I will stay hopeful that the smaller buff is a SHE! Thanks! I'll keep you posted.
I have 2 Plymouth Barred Rocks, they are just about 4 months old. They both look very similar. Can someone tell me if I have hens or roosters. My family and I are really hoping they are hens!
