    So my second silkie began to crow today. My two silkies were crowing, one after the other this morning at 5:30am. That means both are roos, right?? :(

    Donrae: Here are some pictures of my buff orps. Oh and both of my silkies began crowing, when I let them out the coop this morning at 5:30a. So that means def roos, right??? :( Thanks for all your help guys!!!

    Help me sex my Plymouth Barred Rocks.

    Really! My buff orpingtons are the same age. The "rooster looking" one is the biggest of the flock. One of our silkies (darker one) woke us up with 'his" crowing about two days ago but hasn't done it again. I will stay hopeful that the smaller buff is a SHE! Thanks! I'll keep you posted.

    I really hope you are right! Out of 6 chickens, I've been told 4 (2 Silkies, 2 Buff Orpingtons) are roos.
