    what is this tan spot inside this egg.

    One of my pullets layed an egg that was rough on the outside, felt like sandpaper almost. When I cracked it opened there was a glob of tan something along with the yolk and egg white. I have seen rough eggs before. But I have never seen this tannish stuff? Does anyone know what it could be...

    It might be a weasel. They are notorious for sucking eggs and escaping traps.. Just a thought
