    The Front or West side of the coop has a 2 foot wide storage area, accessed by the two small doors. By keeping the West side solid, we hoped to cut some of the very hot afternoon sun in Summer.

    Coop bedding for Arizona hot climate

    Our coop is raised 2 feet off of the ground and is 6’x8’ with a 8’x16’ run. I am planning on 8 hens total.
