    ya my chick is like that now dragging around a wet umbilical cord, it seems to have stuck to his body (i haven't and won't touch it) will it dry up and fall off?

    haha ya my chick is in almost the identical situation. it was dragging half of it's egg shell around on it's butt connected by the umbilical cord. then the shell fell off, but what looks like the umbilical cord was still there. if i think about it it the umbilical cord looks kinda like poop...

    How do you keep chickens from flying over the fence ?

    I'm getting some serema roosters and i have about 3 acres of land all fenced off at about 3 feet, i'm kinda worried that they will fly, and i don't know how to clip their wings, any advice?
