- I have pet chickens and like to read up on posts if I run into issues or to seek out best practices. I have over 50 chickens and 7 ducks. I have been experienced in keeping many other types of animals and Chickens are newer to me. I have had my flock for about a year. Many of them were rescues and I had learned a lot of good tips on dealing with illness from this site and wish to contribute to the community.
