    We recently got a new silkie rooster for our flock. We have another silkiest hen, another bantam hence, and two bantam roosters. At first, the chickens were pretty mean to the new guy, but now they basically ignore each other. Does anyone have any social chicken tips for me??

    Anyone ever tried mingling baby ducks and "teenage" size chickens? My chickens are around 4 months old. I would get small ducklings. I would have to put them in the same pen right now...just wondering if it is okay.

    We figured it out. The roosters were able to fly up into the trees and roost. One came down and the other didn't. I am guessing something got him. We have netting over it now!
